Salburua Wetlands Vitoria-Gasteiz

Salburua Park is one of the main tourist attractions of the capital city of the Basque Country. It is located over some wetlands that create an ecosystem of great natural wealth, very close to the centre of the city that was the European Green Capital in 2012.
With an area of more than 200 hectares, this place is ideal for walking, doing sports or cycling, while enjoying a unique environment that has a huge variety of important animals and plants.

BATTO and iBeacon technology are present in the park and both improve visitors’ experience, allowing them to discover every corner of this wonderful place in a different way.

While we are walking, the app of the wetlands sends us information about our surroundings, such as the vital routes that we can make, the different lakes of the park, the sounds of the birds that nest there, the different species that you can see from the observatories and many more surprises.

Moreover, we can test our knowledge about nature by taking part in a funny quiz with the possibility of winning rewards.
